Yucaipa 11-Year-Old's First Single is on iTunes: Her Parents + Family Are Proud

A Yucaipa child model, actor and singer has released her first music single, and her parents and family are proud of her.

Mahkenna Tyson's first single is titled "Without You" and it's available on iTunes.

Mahkenna, 11, goes to Yucaipa Christian School, her father Brian Tyson said.

She was born in Ireland and raised in Southern California, and spent her early years learning and performing music for family and friends, according to her website.

"What she has accomplished in her short life will amaze anyone," her father said in an email. "Four short films, one commercial, an international pageant finalist for 'Face of Europe 'competition at Disneyland Paris France, child website model for Michael Roud and Falator Photography, fit and print model for D2 models and a top 10 youth singing performer in LA."

Her family includes parents Brian and Cathy Tyson, brothers Nick Stewart, Thomas Tyson, Christopher Tyson, Sister Skyler Tyson. Her grandparents are Ray and Karen Cervantes of Yucaipa, and Charlie Stewart of Redlands.

"We are all proud of her," Brian Tyson said.
