Coronavirus In Redondo Beach: 258 Cases

REDONDO BEACH, CA — Health officials Wednesday reported 2,496 new COVID-19 cases across Los Angeles County along with 19 more deaths.

There are 258 reported cases in Redondo Beach and nine reported deaths, according to Los Angeles County health officials Wednesday.

Last week, there were 197 reported cases in Redondo Beach and eight reported deaths, according to Los Angeles County health officials.

The virus is spiking statewide, with Los Angeles County seeing record numbers for new coronavirus cases.

In Santa Monica, a worker at a Whole Foods Market on Montana Avenue tested positive for COVID-19.

In Culver City, eight police department employees also tested positive.
