Welcome to the 15th Serenade for Moldy Figs
This fifteenth serenade features the great African American musicians who founded the genre, starting with the first recorded "King", Bunk Johnson, and ending with young Louis Armstrong, before he became a showman and an icon. You will hear the work of some of the great Hot Jazz and Blues pioneers and you will see what they looked like and what words they sang.
