• Massive King Harbor Breakwater Undergoing $6.8M Repair (patch.com) — Redondo Beach's King Harbor breakwater is undergoing a $6.8 million federal repair project that will continue through mid-November, with staging on Mole B and some parking impacts near Moonstone Park. Officials say the structure remains sound, but boaters and harbor users should watch for construction barges and anchor wires while the Army Corps restores damaged sections to keep the harbor protected from heavy swells.
