REDWOOD CITY, CA — Police will hold a DUI checkpoint Saturday in Redwood City and have announced the time and location, police said.
The Redwood City Police Department has planned a DUI checkpoint for 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. at El Camino Real near Hopkins Avenue, then Woodside Road near Alameda De Las Pulgas., police said.
“Impaired drivers put themselves and others on the road at significant risk,” said Redwood City Chief of Police Kristina Bell. “It’s a choice. If you’ve been drinking or taken drugs that impair, make the right choice by finding a sober driver or alternate transportation to take you places.”
