Armed Man Robs Duo Near Redwood City
Sheriff's officials are looking for the suspect who got away.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Sheriff's officials are looking for a man who robbed two people last week at gunpoint, making off with "various items of property" from the duo. According to sheriff's Det. Rosemerry Blankswade, the Thursday night incident happened in the 400 block of First Avenue, near Middlefield Road.
The man approached the two people around 8:30 p.m. that night and after he took the items from them, he took off running, Blankswade said. He was last seen headed south towards Second Avenue.
"Deputies conducted an extensive search of the area but were unable to locate any suspects or evidence," she said.

The man was described as weighing about 140 pounds and standing about 5 foot 9 inches tall. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black and white running shoes and black pants with white striped down the sides, according to police. He was also wearing black gloves and a black bandana.
