VP Mike Pence Attended, Left Oracle Conference Opening Pkwy
A large event staged at Oracle's conference center featuring US VP Mike Pence blocked on Marine Parkway between Bridge Parkway and Hwy 101.
REDWOOD CITY, CA -- U.S. Vice President Mike Pence made an appearance at Oracle to meet with business leaders Tuesday morning, an Oracle spokeswoman confirmed.
The spectacle blocked traffic on Marine Parkway Tuesday morning, the Redwood City Police Department reported, which closed the major thoroughfare between U.S. Highway 101 and Bridge Parkway.
Motorists were advised to use Redwood Shores Parkway as an alternative route. The busy parkway is now open.
