WINE, LIVE MUSIC, AND WOOD-FIRED FOOD
Blue House provides the music. Our restored 1955 Flxible diner bus serves as the kitchen. Join us in AutoVino’s Wine Garden this Friday for Woodside Vineyards wines and wood-fired food, all at a venue that’s also home to a collection of classic and exotic cars.
Admission is free, and no reservations are required.
LIVE MUSIC BY BLUE HOUSE
Marlies de Veer on guitar and vocals and Amy Beasley on bass and vocals have performed together since high school. That long musical partnership shows in their close harmonies and natural onstage chemistry.
Blue House blends acoustic warmth with a rock-and-roll attitude, spanning roots rock, country, R&B, and folk. Their mix of original songs and well-known favorites has taken them to wineries, festivals, and live music venues throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
WOODSIDE VINEYARDS WINES
The wine has local roots, too. Woodside Vineyards sources fruit from Woodside and Portola Valley, at the northern end of the Santa Cruz Mountains appellation. Its wines include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, and King’s Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, bringing the Peninsula’s vineyards to your table in San Carlos.
PIZZA AND WOOD-FIRED WINGS FROM THE FLXIBLE DINER BUS
Inside the diner bus, Nate hand-stretches Neapolitan-style pizzas made with dough fermented for 48 hours. Nick, trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, prepares chicken wings in the 900-degree oven fired with oak wood for crisp skin and tender meat.
The restored bus is a working kitchen, and the pizza and wings are cooked here at AutoVino during Happy Hour.
INGE’S CHARCUTERIE BOARDS
Inge’s artisan charcuterie boards feature salami, prosciutto, cheeses, olives, nuts, crackers, and sweet jellies. Boards can be customized to your group size and offer plenty to share with a glass of Woodside Vineyards Cabernet or Chardonnay.
