Our Story Wag Hotels was founded in 2005 by pet lovers who couldn't find a suitable place to leave their pets during business trips. What started as a personal quest has grown into the ultimate boarding and daycare resort for dogs and cats — a one stop shop for boarding, grooming, training, and all your pet spoiling needs. Our Mission is to provide the highest level of service and delight to pets and their parents. Since opening our first hotel in Sacramento, we have expanded to San Francisco, Redwood City, Oakland, and most recently Santa Clara. Our staff hails from the best animal science programs in the country. We have worked in notable institutions like the San Diego Zoo and in prominent veterinary offices throughout California. We're proud of the fact that many of our team members have been with Wag Hotels since we opened our first facility in Sacramento twelve years ago.
