More than just ensuring our clients are fed, clothed, healthy, and housed, we help them create their own stability and remain an active, successful part of the community. Over recent years, more and more families in San Mateo County have been thrust into poverty. From the COVID-19 pandemic, to increasing wealth inequality, to the impacts of inflation and the housing crisis, the financial pressures on our neighbors have grown. By Bay City News Service:A man found dead along a jogging trail in Redwood City on Monday afternoon was identified Wednesday as a 49-year-old Redwood City resident, according to the San Mateo County coroner's office. <a href="https://patch.com/california/redwoodcity-woodside/man-dies-redwood-city-jogging-path"> Robert Acker was found unresponsive on a jogging trail in the area of Beacon Shores Drive and Marine Parkway at about 3:20 p.m. Monday.</a> Police said Monday it appeared that Acker had suffered a medical emergency and investigators found no signs of foul play.
