Peninsula Drive-By Shooting Under Investigation

Police say the driver was in a BMW X5.

PACIFICA, CA — Pacifica police are looking for a man wanted for a drive-by shooting that happened Friday evening, the agency reports. The man, who was last seen in a BMW X5 headed away from the scene, did not hit anyone with the gunshots.

Police said the incident was reported at 5:10 p.m. in the 500 block of Manor Drive.

"Officers arrived on scene and located several casings on the ground," police said. "A witness confirmed the shots were not fired at any of the houses in the area."

The shooter was described as a white or Hispanic man, between 30 and 40 years old, with a medium build and wearing a black beanie and white T-shirt. He was driving a black older model X5 with tinted windows and was last seen driving east on Manor Drive toward Skyline Boulevard, police said.
