Person Trapped In Peninsula Crash, Ambulance En Route

BREAKING: The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. in the Woodside area, the CHP reports.

WOODSIDE, CA — At least one person is hurt Thursday in a crash near Woodside, according to the California Highway Patrol. Preliminary reports indicate a Range Rover and a Toyota Camry crashed around 11:26 a.m., with one of the vehicles going down an area embankment along I-280 near SR-84.

The California Highway Patrol reports the driver of the Range Rover was trapped inside the wreckage, which was facing the wrong way on the highway after rolling and landing on its wheels. An ambulance was called to the scene shortly after the crash.

CHP logs indicate a man, who was a passenger in the Range Rover, was out of the SUV, but was bleeding at the scene.
