Pescadero County Store Destroyed in Weekend Fire
Upon arrival, firefighters saw smoke and fire coming from the building's roof, fire officials said.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA – A Pescadero business has been ruled a total loss after a two-alarm fire swept through the building this morning, according fire officials.
The blaze was first reported around 5:30 a.m. at Pescadero Country Store at 251 Stage Road, Cal Fire Deputy Chief Jake Hess said.
Upon arrival, firefighters saw smoke and fire coming from the building's roof, according to Hess.

Firefighters, however, were able to bring the blaze under control and eventually extinguished it.
The building sustained major damages as a result of the fire, Hess said.

No injuries were reported and a cause for the fire remains under investigation.
