Police Officer Hurt in Peninsula Crash, Department Says
Police say a motor officer was injured in the wreck.

SAN MATEO, CA – A motorcycle officer with the San Mateo Police Department was hurt Tuesday morning in a crash, the agency reports.
The crash, reported along Hillsdale Boulevard around 11:30 a.m., involved the motor officer and another vehicle, according to the SMPD.
"Thankfully, our motor officer only suffered minor injuries and the other involved driver reported no injuries," police reported on Nixle.

The CHP responded to the scene and has taken over the investigation, police say.
"We would also like to thank our community members who showed their concern at the scene and for remaining patient during the road closures."

Hillsdale Boulevard between Glendora Drive and state Highway 92 was closed for about two hours Tuesday.
