Redwood City Fire Prompts Road Closure
BREAKING: Officials say Woodside Road is partially closed due to a structure fire.
REDWOOD CITY, CA — Fire crews are battling a fire in Redwood City this afternoon, prompting police to close an area roadway around noon.
"Eastbound Woodside Road is closed between Alameda De Las Pulgas and Santiago Ave in Redwood City due to a structure fire," officials said. "It is estimated that the road will be reopening around 1PM."
Authorities asked residents to avoid the area if possible.
