Amidst all the graduations in the Redwood City School District this week, there's still time to eat for a good cause and read a book.

Thursday, June 9

The Summer Reading Club kicks off today through the end of August for readers, listeners and parents. If you listen for 600 minutes, you could win an array of awards and could get a ticket for the big raffle held at the end of the summer. Sign up at any Redwood City Library.

The graduations continue onto Thursday with:

Selby Lane Elementary School: 170 Selby Lane in Atherton, front parking lot at 3 p.m.

MIT, McKinley Institute of Technology: 400 Duane Street, Auditorium at 4:30 p.m.
