MENLO PARK, CA — Police are seeking an armed robbery suspect who stole two bottles of anti-anxiety medication at a CVS Pharmacy in Menlo Park this week. Though police responded to the scene in the 700 block of El Camino Real immediately after the incident, they did not find the robber, police said.
The crime was reported at 9:08 a.m. Thursday, according to police. The suspect walked into the pharmacy, "demanded two bottles" of Alprazolam — also known as Xanax — and showed a small black semi-automatic pistol, police said.
"He lifted his shirt and showed a handgun in his waistband," Menlo Park police said in a news release.
