Trio Nabbed in Connection to Armed Takeover-Style Bank Robbery
Two of the three suspects appeared in a Redwood City courtroom this week.

REDWOOD CITY, CA – Two of three men connected to an armed takeover-style robbery at a Daly City bank earlier this month pleaded not guilty in a San Mateo County courtroom Monday.

Bail was set for Mosby at $650,000, while Velazquez-Cordero is being held on $250,000 bail. The pair remained in custody and are expected to return to court for a preliminary hearing on Oct. 7, according to prosecutors.
Wilson, who is also facing drug charges, posted bail following his arrest and has not yet entered a plea. He will appear in court for his initial felony arraignment on Oct. 24, prosecutors said.

Just before the Sept. 15 robbery, Mosby had been in the bank for about 25 minutes, apparently casing the location, according to prosecutors.
Armed with a semiautomatic handgun and wearing masks, Velazquez-Cordero and an unidentified individual then walked into the bank and demanded money from both customers and bank employees, according to prosecutors.
The pair took $11,195 from teller drawers and $500 cash as well as credit cards from customers. They then fled in a gold Cadillac, which was registered to Wilson, with Mosby riding in the passenger's seat of the car, prosecutors said.
Three days later, police were able to track Wilson down in Vallejo after his girlfriend was discovered using the stolen credit cards taken from the bank customers.
During his arrest, officers found Wilson with cash taken from the bank in his pocket, as well as a .22-caliber handgun and methamphetamine and heroin for sale, according to prosecutors.
On Thursday, after receiving a tip, officers located Mosby and Velazquez-Cordero at a Fairfield motel, where the gold Cadillac they used in the robbery was parked, prosecutors said.
