VIDEO: Mount Carmel School Gets "Wild"

The school hopes to raise $50,000 at its annual Wild West Days carnival

From Tilt-a-whirl to the teacups to traditional carnival games, Mount Carmel is heading to the Wild West this weekend to raise money for the school.

"Just watching the kids get excited when we brought in the rides Wednesday is the best part," said carnival co-chair Maureen Arnott. "They start jumping up and down and can't wait."

Principal Teresa Anthony said fundraising accounts for 25 percent of the school's revenue, and the Wild West Days is the biggest event of the year.
