Once again the crown was passed on to a hard working, talented and beautiful young lady from San Mateo County at the 45th Miss Redwood City/San Mateo County scholarship competition.

Five women walked with grace, answered questions eloquently and performed a talent Saturday night at the Little Theater at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center.

  • Sasha Hao, University of California, Davis

  • Katrina Smith, Menlo College

Judges included:

  • Redwood City Vice Mayor Alicia Aguirre
  • Redwood City Port Commissioner Chairman Ralph Garcia
  • Redwood City Parks & Rec Commissioner Alex Wright
  • San Mateo County Sheriff Greg Munks
  • Gwen Adkins from Santa Rosa
  • Patti Wunderlich from San Jose
  • Kim McNicholas from Marin County

There was also special performance by Miss Redwood City 2010, Jackie Harris, as well as special appearances by former title holders.
