OAKLAND, CA — If a cactus conjures in your mind visions of a stark desert landscape, we took the same summer vacation as kids - sweating in the back seat of a family sedan with a bleak landscape rolling by on our way to something better.
Christina Roberson has proof that cactus can be incredibly beautiful. She snapped this photo in Oakland of a cactus in full, vibrant bloom. The flowers are every bit as showy as hibiscus. Thank you for sharing this revelation with us, Christina!
