Every single time I see a fire in the Oakland hills, I have flashbacks to October 20, 1991. Never will forget that Sunday.

White praised the firefighting efforts which included some 320 personnel at the scene, mutual aid and CalFire water and fire retardant drops. He said that the steep terrain, rapid rate of spread and tall flames were challenging.
