A Spooktacutar Weekend for Kids, "How I Learned to Drive," a Harvest Celebration and More

A look at this weekend's events.

Looks as though we have a nice weekend to get out and do something fun. Check out what's taking place in and around the area through the Rohnert Park Patch Events Calendar

  • "," traces a woman’s path through time as she recalls learning the rules of the road (and life) from behind the wheel of her uncle’s ’62 Buick Riviera. This play by 's department of theater arts and dance, runs through Oct. 28 in Ives Studio 76 & Warren Auditorium on campus. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m. Visit the university's school of Theater Arts for more information.
  • Come out to this Saturday for a harvest celebration! Local residents and volunteers will be transforming the soccer field at the church into a community garden. The event, filled with fun for kids too, runs from 10 a.m. to noon at the Cross and Crown soccer field.
  • It's almost Halloween. Come out to the on Saturday at 7 p.m. for the "Mostly Magic Spooktacular" magic and variety show, featuring magic, comdedy, fire-eating, illusions and more. Tickets are available at Spreckels weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or at the door the day of the event. Call 707-588-3456 to purchase tickets online.
