Bank Robbed By Suspect With Red Tattoo: Santa Rosa Police
A $2,500 reward is offered for information leading to an arrest in a bank robbery Friday in Santa Rosa.
SANTA ROSA, CA — The Santa Rosa Police Department is investigating a bank robbery reported Friday on Stony Point Road.
At 1:04 p.m., a man walked into the Exchange Bank, 499 Stony Point Road, and passed a note to a teller. In the note he claimed to be armed with a gun and demanded money, police said.
The teller gave an unknown amount of cash to the suspect, who then walked out of the bank and left in an unknown vehicle, according to Santa Rosa police Sgt. Christopher Mahurin.

No employees or clients were injured, the sergeant said.
Numerous officers were sent to the bank and searched the area extensively for the suspect but he was not found, Mahurin said.

The suspect was described as a white or light-skinned Hispanic man in his mid 20s to early 30s with a husky build who was between 5 feet 11 inches and 6 feet tall.
Santa Rosa police released surveillance photos of the suspect who was wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt, a blue surgical mask, blue gloves, white shoes and a black knitted hat that had two long strings and white eyes stitched on the front.
The suspect also had a red tattoo on the left side of his neck, according to police.
Detectives would like to speak with anyone who may have information related to the robbery, including anyone who may have witnessed the robbery but has not yet spoken with police. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Santa Rosa Police Violent Crimes Team at 707-543-3590.
A reward up to $2,500 is being offered by the Sonoma County Alliance Community Engagement and Safety Rewards Fund for information leading to the arrest of the suspect or suspects involved in the robbery.
