Bicyclist Injured In Collision With Vehicle In Rohnert Park

SONOMA COUNTY, CA – Police in Rohnert Park are investigating a collision between a vehicle and a bicyclist that injured a boy Thursday.

Officers responded at 5:45 p.m. to the intersection of Snyder Lane and Rosana Way on a report of a traffic collision and located an injured male juvenile lying in the crosswalk.

Police said the driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The injured victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police said it does not appear excessive speed played a factor in the collision.

This was the second collision at the intersection this week, according to police.
