Carrillo to Not Face Felony Charges According to Press Democrat
Charges have been deemed a misdemeanor according to detective on case.
According to a story in the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, Sonoma County Supervisor Efren Carrillo will not be charged with felony assault charges in wake of his Sept. 3 arrest in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter.
A San Diego Police detective told the Press Democrat that the a captain in the department has deemed the case a misdemeanor and the city attorney will handle the case rather than the San Diego County district attorney. He also said that police could recommend that no charges will be filed.
