Coyote Sighting Reported In Rohnert Park K Section: Police

ROHNERT PARK, CA — Rohnert Park police advised people not to approach an injured coyote that was reported Monday in the field north of the city's K section.

"If you see the coyote in the neighborhood, please do not approach the coyote and call Rohnert Park DPS dispatch immediately at 707-584-2611 to report it," the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety said in a Nixle alert sent at 6:09 p.m. Monday.

The K Section is bordered to the east by Petaluma Hill Road, to the south by Rohnert Park Expressway and Sonoma State University, and to the west by Oakview and Medical Center Drives.
