Danny Marzo Blasts Walkoff Homer, Petaluma Stays Alive in World Series

Marzo's lead-off solo home run in the bottom of the eighth topped New Jersey for a 5-4 nailbiting victory

 

Petaluma National Little League slugger Bradley Smith was on deck in the bottom of the eighth inning, but Danny Marzo stole the spotlight and did the slugging himself.

Marzo crushed a walk-off home run to keep Petaluma alive in the Little League World Series with a 5-4 victory in an extra innings thriller Monday. According to ESPN, Petaluma plays again Tuesday night at 5 p.m. Pacific time against an unknown opponent at this time.
