This will be our last Creek Stewardship Day of the season, and we’ll be taking care of the native trees and shrubs we have planted previously, by weeding, mulching, and generally preparing them for the summer months. Our next Creek Stewardship Day after this will be in the Fall.
As usual, dress for work and weather with old clothes, in layers, and wear sun protection and a hat. Wear long pants for protection, and boots or sturdy shoes. Tools and gloves provided. We’ll meet at Cotati City well lot # 2 on Lakewood Avenue, and extra parking is available at the Ladybug Park parking lot on Liman Way. If you haven’t participated before please read the Creek Stewardship Day guidelines and find directions and maps at www.CotatiCreekCritters.info.
