Fatal Dirt Bike Crash Reported South Of Santa Rosa
The fatality happened at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday, according to CHP reports.
SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A dirt bike rider died after crashing in a field this evening in unincorporated Sonoma County south of Santa Rosa, according to preliminary information from the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash was reported at about 6:35 p.m. Thursday east of U.S. Highway 101 at 232 Magnolia Ave. near the intersection with Frisbie Avenue, in the Bellevue area.
The motorcycle landed about 20 feet down a ravine accessible from Petaluma Hill Road, according to the CHP.
