Where to Find the Best Holiday Lights in Rohnert Park and Cotati

Where are some of the better decorated houses around town? We found some but do you know of more?

While most everyone around knows about Weaver's Winter Wonderland and all of the great decorating that happens on Cielo Court each year, plenty of other local Rohnert Park and Cotati residents do a great job putting lights up as well.

You can drive all around town and find most neighborhoods lit up for the holidays as local residents spread the holiday cheer. So where are some of the better spots to visit? The Patch took to the streets and found quite a few nice little spots people can visit.

  • Heartwood Drive off Snyder Lane boasted quite a few wonderfully decorated houses, especially near the end of the drive.
  • Along Emily Avenue near Evergreen Elementary School you can find some spectacular displays, including the local winner of our Best Decked House in Rohnert Park & Cotati on the corner of Evelyn Street and Emma Court. Also on Emily Avenue is one local who dresses up in his Santa Suit to wave to people and pass out candy to the kids.
  • Over in the 'M' section on Maria Place people were being bused in to view one of the best decorated houses complete with 'A Christmas Story' playing on TV upstairs.

There are probably quite a few more wonderful houses and neighborhoods out there. Do you know of any that we missed? Make sure to tell us in the comments and upload a photo if you have one to share.
