Friday:

The play, Stalag 17 depicts the day to day survival of thirteen U.S. airmen held captive during World War II. An escape attempt has gone wrong, two men have died and it becomes clear to the survivors that an informer is living among them, someone determined to betray their every move. Stalag 17 opens tonight and is  directed by Denise Elia.

If you go: Tickets are $21 for general admission, $19 for seniors and $8 for students with ID. The show begins at 8 p.m at , 5409 Snyder Ln., in Rohnert Park. For reservations, call the Spreckels box office at 707-588-3400.

Saturday:

The 28th Annual Fishing Derby promises to be a fun day for kids 15 and under. Roberts Lake is stocked with about 1,000 trout every year; have the kids come and catch as many they can. Show up the morning of the fishing derby, fill out a registration form and receive a welcome bag, t-shirt and a chance to win a prize, then go find a spot to fish. Please don’t begin fishing until  8 a.m. when the derby starts. This event is organized by volunteers and supported by generous businesses and individuals in the area!

If you go: The Derby is from 8 a.m.-10 a.m., Get there early to register.   is at 5010 Roberts Lake Blvd., in Rohnert Park.

Sunday:

Jenny Bent, conductor for  Chamber Singers leads the singers through a program that unites the sacred and the secular with Mozart's Missa Brevis and choral settings of poetry that includes James McCray’s Rememberances of Love.

If you go:  Tickets are $12 general; $10 SSU faculty, staff and alumni; $8 seniors. All students free with ID. Sunday’s performance begins at 4 p.m. at , 1500 E. Cotati Ave., in Rohnert Park.
