Lexus Drives Into Round Table Pizza, 2nd Crash In Same Shopping Center
This is the second similar crash in less than a week at the Montecito Shopping Center, where a driver smashed into Oliver's Market.
ROHNERT PARK-COTATI, CA — Less than a week after a driver barreled into Oliver's Market, a vehicle crashed into the wall of a pizza restaurant in the Montecito Shopping Center.
The most recent crash left the driver with minor injuries, but no harm to customers or pedestrians, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.
On Wednesday, a gray Lexus RX350 struck the Round Table Pizza at 550 Montecito Center.

Santa Rosa police received the report at about 4:45 p.m.
The car breached the outer wall and caused minor structural damage, but did not fully enter the restaurant, police said.

The driver was treated at a local hospital. Police are still investigating the cause of the collision.
In the meantime, the Santa Rosa Police Department said they plan to increase targeted traffic enforcement in the area following recent incidents.

The vehicle slammed into the front of the grocery store on Feb. 13, tearing a large hole in the building and injuring six people, including two employees.
