Most Schools Open In Sonoma County

SONOMA COUNTY, CA – Schools in Sonoma County are open today with the exception of the
Gravenstein Union School District with four elementary and middle schools in the Sebastopol area and the River Montessori Charter School in Petaluma.

The schools in the county were closed Friday and Tuesday because of unhealthy air from smoke from the Camp Fire in Butte County. The schools also were closed for Veterans Day on Monday.

Santa Rosa Junior College is open but outdoor athletics, events and activities have been canceled.

Sonoma State University is open, but all outdoor activities have been canceled.
