Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Hit-And-Run In Sonoma County
CHP Santa Rosa is on the lookout for the suspect vehicle - a black Jeep Cherokee with front/side damage.
SANTA ROSA, CA — A female pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries in a Sunday night hit-and-run in Santa Rosa, with law enforcement now seeking the motorist, possibly driving a black Jeep Cherokee, from 2014 to 2016, with damage to the front or side, officials said.
The crash was reported at approximately 10:34 p.m. on Stony Point Road and Butler Avenue, and the driver fled the scene after strking the woman, according to the California Highway Patrol in Santa Rosa.
"The female pedestrian sustained major injuries that are considered life-threatening," the agency said.

Investigators said the suspect's vehicle was traveling north on Stony Point Road, and the woman was on the right shoulder when hit, the CHP said.
