At-Risk Youth Missing In Sonoma County: Public's Help Sought

SONOMA COUNTY, CA – A 13-year-old boy, who was reportedly last seen Monday afternoon in Santa Rosa, was reported missing today by the Petaluma police.
Lucas Michael Coleman, a foster child who lives in Petaluma and is considered "at-risk," has a history of running away, according to the Petaluma Police Department.
The boy was last known to have left a medical appointment in Santa Rosa Monday at 3 p.m. and has not been seen nor heard from since, and is not responding to phone calls, police said, adding he is not known to be suicidal and does attend school in Santa Rosa.

The appointment was on the 1400 block Guerneville Road, and he left on foot, the department said.
He "recently stated he wanted to run away to Guerneville to live among the homeless," police said.

Lucas, described as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, was last seen wearing a brown baseball cap, black Vans shoes, baggy black Levi's jeans and a brown hoodie with green logo reading, “May the forest be with you.”
Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Coleman is asked to call 911 or the Petaluma Police Department at 707-778-4372.
