Rohnert Park Man Gets Four Years In Jewelry Store Robbery
The 20 year old also threatened a witness.

A Rohnert Park man was sentenced to four years in prison Thursday for robbing a jewelry store and threatening a witness, the Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office said today.
Christian Orlando Heredia, 20, of Rohnert Park showed a replica handgun in his waistband when he robbed the Joyeria Torres jewelry store at 77 Sebastopol Road in the Roseland area of Santa Rosa on Feb. 23, Sonoma County District Attorney Jill Ravitch said.
Heredia told the store owner, ‘I know you have kids. Don’t call the police,’ then left the store with a bag of jewelry, Ravitch said.

Heredia returned with a replica gun to the same store on March 2 and demanded jewelry.
The victim complied, but another store employee called police, Ravitch said. Heredia pointed the replica gun at the employee for several seconds before fleeing with jewelry, Ravitch said. Heredia pleaded guilty on April 14 to the March 2 robbery and dissuading a witness, charges considered strikes under the state’s three strikes sentencing scheme, Ravitch said.
