Search On For Missing Man, 81, With Dementia and Known To HItchhike

SONOMA COUNTY, CA – The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office reported a search is underway this morning for a missing 81-year-old man last reported seen Friday night walking away from his home west of Sebastopol on Bodega Highway.

Daniel Sigler, who has a history of dementia and is known to hitchike, was last seen at 9 p.m. wearing a red-down jacket, blue jeans and brown boots.

The Sheriff's Search and Rescue team was called out to his last known location and a search is currently underway.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts or who recognizes him is asked to call 911.
