Two Rohnert Park Professionals Earn Statewide Certification

Nichole Boone and Thomas Johnson, both with Grapevine Property Services in Rohnert Park, Calif., have earned the statewide designation of Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM®) from the California Association of Community Managers (CACM). The CCAM is the only California-specific certification awarded to professionals working in the community association management field in California.

Boone and Johnson join 39 other managers throughout California who earned the CCAM designation during the third quarter of 2014.

“Professionals like Nichole and Thomas act as champions for their communities and have tremendous responsibilities for the residents they serve,” said Karen Conlon, president and CEO of CACM. “They guide volunteer HOA boards through complicated issues such as finances, state legislation and dispute resolution, while overseeing all aspects of property maintenance. The CCAM certification process prepares community managers for these tasks, which require a broad set of technical and interpersonal skills to effectively manage homeowners associations in today’s environment.”

Based in Laguna Hills, Calif., CACM is the only community association management organization in the nation to offer a California-only educational program leading to the designation of Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM®) and Master of Community Association Management (MCAM®) for industry professionals.
