Weekend Planner: Jan. 6-8, 2012

See what is going on in Rohnert Park and nearby this weekend, including "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" at the Stadium 16.

Friday:

New Movie Releases - This weekend at the Rohnert Park 16 you can get scared by watching "The Devil Inside" This horror/suspense thriller about exorcism is rated R and is the only new release for the weekend, but also showing up at the RP16 is "Tinker, Tailor, Solider, Spy" with Gary Oldman. Gladys Knight - Another wonderful opportunity for an intimate setting with "The Empress of Soul."  Gladys Knight will perform newer hits as well as classic numbers ("I Heard It Through the Grapevine," "Midnight Train to Georgia"). If you go: The concert will be just up the road at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts, 50 Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa. Ticket prices range from $45 to $88, available online; the show starts at 8pm.

Saturday:

Master Gardeners - Come learn a recipe for a healthy garden with Master Gardener Gloria Whiteley. This free event is geared for adults and teens. If you go: It will be held at the at 6250 Lynne Conde Way from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Annual Crab Feed - It is time for the Come enjoy some "hot crab" with Captain Bob along with other fixings and a no-host bar! If you go: The event starts at 5 p.m. and runs until at the Community Center. Tickets are $50 in advance (from the Chamber) or $60 at the door.

Sunday:

- This is the biggest and best bridal show north of San Francisco with over 90 booths packed full of all things weddings. There will be planning seminars, cake samples, and free mini-makeovers, plus thousands of dollars in prizes! If you go: The event is being held at the at One Doubletree Drive in Rohnert Park. The fun starts at 11am and runs until 4pm and it is $15 per person at the door or you can pre-register here.
