- Rain, rain go away! Due to the ugly weather, the Lincoln Christmas Parade was canceled and the Hometown Christmas Tree Lighting was rescheduled. The good news is that the Grinch didn't completely steal Christmas. You can still watch the tree lighting next weekend on December 8. "The celebration will take place from 5:00- 8:00 pm, rain or shine." (Roseville Today)
- West Roseville is growing by leaps and bounds! Now, a new Safeway shopping center is slated to go in at the northeast corner of Pleasant Grove Boulevard and Fiddyment Road, according to documents filed with the city. - Get those donuts ready! It's almost time for the next Coffee with a Cop. This time, it's being combined with a Toys for Tots toy drive. Bring a new, unwrapped toy and it will be given to a Roseville family in need this Christmas. The excitement happens at MoJoe's Cafe on December 13. (City of Roseville)
- Did you know that nearly half of Roseville's water supply comes from the Folsom Reservoir? But your Roseville utilities folks are working to diversify the supply. The more diverse the supply, the more resilient it will be during drought and climate change. The city is looking to bring in more of our water through a robust groundwater system and alternative water diversions. And the hope is that you won't notice a thing as these changes are made!
