- FUNBOX, the world's biggest bounce park, is back at the Westfield Galleria starting tomorrow! - I bet it will come as no surprise that the location in Roseville that had the most crashes in 2022 was Galleria Boulevard and Roseville Parkway. And that's according to a report issued by the Roseville Police Department. Two Cirby Way intersections also made the list. (KTXL FOX 40 Sacramento)
- A person was killed by a falling tree on Ophir, just north of Newcastle, on Monday. It is not known if the person killed was a worker or a resident. No other details were released. (KCRA3)
- Several drivers reported cracked windshields after driving on Highway 80 near Taylor Boulevard on Sunday. After getting complaints, CalTrans sent sweepers out to try to clear the roadway. However, that didn't rectify the problem, as the agency got more calls after the sweeping was complete. At this point, "they are believing that because of all the weather changes, there could be some cracking going on with surface pavement," spokesperson Dennis Keaton said. CalTrans is continuing to work on the problem. (KCRA3)
