• Marin sewage boards battle over treatment costs (marinij.com) — Ross residents’ sewer bills are at the center of a dispute between the Ross Valley Sanitary District and the Central Marin Sanitary Agency over how treatment costs are calculated and shared. RVSD says its ratepayers, including those in Ross, have overpaid for years and is now in mediation, arguing for fairer cost allocation and representation while other officials defend the current system.
   

• Ross Valley board endorses limited flood projects (marinij.com) — Flood-control officials are moving ahead cautiously with a scaled-back plan that includes replacing the aging fish ladder behind the Ross post office and adding fish-resting pools in Kentfield. After years of delays and a failed larger watershed project, the Ross Valley flood board approved limited design funding and demanded clearer budgets, timelines, and financial updates before committing to more work.
   

• Sports Briefs: Survivors advance in Little League elimination rounds (marinij.com) — Ross Valley Little League All-Stars are still alive in District 3 play, advancing with an 11-1 win over Gallinas Valley and setting up a Monday showdown with Tiburon. Another Ross Valley squad will also face San Rafael after eliminating San Francisco American, while local high schools, including nearby Branson, are recruiting coaches for upcoming seasons.
