Clear Water After The Wind: Photo Of The Day
Without its usual green sludge, this canal transformed into a glossy mirror.
SACRAMENTO, CA — The wind that blew through Sacramento over the weekend may have prompted some people to alter their plans, but it also had a positive effect. Claus Weisemann told Patch in an email, "Normally, the canal is covered by a green sludge, but yesterday’s wind blew the surface open and this morning it presented itself smooth as a mirror, beautifully and colorfully reflecting the trees and the blue morning sky."
