Over 1.9M Ballots Sent To Voters In San Diego County
Early voting began Monday at the Registrar of Voters office in Kearny Mesa.

SAN DIEGO, CA — More than 1.9 million ballots for the March 5 presidential primary election were sent to registered voters in San Diego County, the San Diego Registrar of Voters Office announced. Voters should receive their ballots this week.
Early voting began Monday at the Registrar of Voters office in Kearny Mesa. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office will be closed Feb. 19 in observance of Presidents Day.
Vote-by-mail ballots can be returned through the U.S. Postal Service. Voters who return their ballot by mail are not required to include postage on the return envelope.

Ballots can also be dropped off at official ballot drop boxes starting Tuesday through the final day of voting on Tuesday, March 5.
Starting Feb. 24, 39 vote centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. On March 2, an additional 179 vote centers will open for a total of 218. The locations will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through March 4. The Registrar's office and all vote centers and official ballot drop boxes will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.

To be counted, completed ballots must be received at the Registrar of Voters office or any vote center in San Diego County by the time the polls close at 8 p.m. on Election Day. Ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received no later than seven days after Election Day.
