SAN DIEGO, CA — As we head into the new work week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday through Monday to prepare you for the week ahead.

But before we jump into Southern California's top stories, residents should expect cooler temperatures and breezy winds this week, according to the National Weather Service.

"Periods of light to locally moderate precipitation expected through Monday, most widespread today," NWS San Diego forecasters wrote Sunday.

"Dry conditions return Tuesday and will prevail through the rest of the week," forecasters continued. "Periods of breezy winds expected in the afternoons and evenings through Monday and again mid-week. Near to below average temperatures expected for much of this week with warmer conditions this weekend."

In other news, a woman accused of stalking and assaulting a former Fleetwood Mac member was arrested; sex toy-wielding protestors were arrested at an anti-ICE protest; three guard dogs were stabbed, one fatally, at a landmark cemetery; and three prominent Iranians who had been granted permanent legal status to live in the U.S. by the Obama administration were arrested and will be deported, officials said.
