SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA — As the weekend wraps up, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

But before we jump into Southern California's top stories, residents should know that another storm is expected to bring more rain and mountain snow this week to the region.

"A weak ridge of high pressure building in aloft will bring dry and milder conditions through Tuesday," NWS San Diego forecasters wrote Monday. "Light to moderate rain and mountain snow will return to the forecast between Tuesday night and Wednesday night as another storm system drops into the region. An unsettled weather pattern could linger into Thursday, then drier
conditions should develop for the end of the week."

In other news, social media posts threatening violence at a high school in Riverside County have so far been unverified, police said.

Police said they were aware of "various" posts being shared making threats of school violence at Riverside Polytechnic High School. Investigators were working with school administration and the Riverside Unified School District to identify where the threats originated.

One teenager was killed and two others were injured when violence broke out during a party in Riverside.

A man believed to have been homeless was killed when he was struck by a big rig at a Los Angeles intersection.

Lifeguards and firefighters rescued a woman who fell about 25 feet onto some rocks at a beach in the Sunset Cliffs area of San Diego. She suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital.

Two men with gunshot wounds were found inside an apartment complex stairwell in San Diego. They later died at a hospital.

Two winning lottery tickets were sold in Southern California.

A Powerball ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, was sold at a liquor store in Los Angeles County, the California Lottery announced. The ticket was worth $484,265.

A SuperLotto Plus ticket with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, was sold at a supermarket in Los Angeles, the California Lottery announced. The ticket was worth $34,043.

Plus, a Riverside County-based company recalled chicken soup dumplings sold at Trader Joe's locations nationwide because the product may contain bits of hard plastic from a permanent marker, according to an announcement.
