Average ​Gas Price Sets 19th Record In 21 Days In San Diego Area

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline hit another record high Tuesday in San Diego County.

The average price increased 10 cents to $5.483, the 19th record high in the past 21 days, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price was $5.383 Sunday, $4.861 one week ago, $4.688 one month ago, and $3.794 one year ago.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in California was $5.444 Tuesday, while the average national price was $4.173, according to AAA.
