Average Gas Price Sets Another Record High In San Diego County
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the county has set six records in the past eight days.
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline hit another record high in San Diego County.
The average price increased 1.2 cents Wednesday to $4.756. Prior to last week, the county record high was $4.725, which was set Oct. 8, 2012. That record was broken when the average price hit $4.726 on Feb. 16.
The average price in the county has gone up 20 times in 24 days, setting six records in the past eight days, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The average price was $4.726 one week ago, $4.624 one month ago, and $3.638 one year ago.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in California was $4.752 Wednesday, while the average national price was $3.535, according to AAA.
