Average SD County Gas Price At Highest Amount Since October 2012
The rising prices have been attributed to higher oil prices and refineries beginning to ship summer blend gasoline.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose Thursday for the ninth time in 10 days, increasing a half-cent to $4.669, its highest amount since Oct. 11, 2012.
The average price has increased 7.5 cents over the past 10 days, including six-tenths of a cent Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It rose six consecutive days, was unchanged on Monday and resumed increasing Tuesday.
The average price is 4.3 cents more than one week ago, 7.5 cents higher than one month ago and $1.204 greater than one year ago. It is 2.6 cents less than the record high of $4.725 set Oct. 8, 2012.
